Delwyn Hypnosis is based in Wrexham Wellness, The Complementary Health Centre in Wrexham.

Delwyn Hypnosis is owned and run by myself, David Collingwood-Bell, one of the  Senior Clinicians of the National Council for Hypnotherapy.
I am well experienced and highly qualified to the national occupational standards for hypnotherapy and, as a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy, am committed to continuing professional development and am bound by a strict code of ethics and professional practice.

I am the Adviser on the Nature and Treatment of Tinnitus to the National Council of Hypnotherapy, having taken a special interest in, and extensively studied, this condition for many years.

As well as seeing clients for a wide variety of conditions, I am also the Training Director for the UK Academy of Therapeutic Arts and Sciences (Wales), in which capacity I run hypnotherapy training courses and am also on the faculty of the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy, in which capacity I am a tutor to Diploma level, as well as serving as a member of the Academic Board. 

Essentially I use the power of this natural, relaxing and perfectly safe method of treatment to alleviate a wide range of ailments and difficulties, helping each client to become the person he or she really wants to be.

So I am here to help you to achieve the changes you desire, whether it be to do with an emotional problem, an unwanted habit, a social difficulty, your self image, an improvement in performance of whatever nature or, with the knowledge of your doctor, pain management, certain medical conditions, or the enhancement of medical treatments or surgical procedures. These changes for the better are achieved through that state of hypnotic trance in which you will be totally relaxed, both physically and mentally. In trance you are vastly more able to make use of the inner resources of your unconscious mind and be so much more receptive to suggestion and more open to learning and change.

I do not make the changes as YOU remain totally in control, but I am able to help you harness your own natural abilities. So each and every session of therapy is unique, in that it is individualised for you, using the trance state to transfer problems into solutions.

Whatever changes are set in motion, you will leave feeling so very relaxed, yet alert and profoundly energised.

Of course it will depend upon your particular condition but my aim is to always help you to resolve your difficulty as quickly and effectively as possible so that you can get on with your life without having to resort to long term therapy.

The Delwyn School of Clinical and Advanced Hypnosis  is the part of the UK Academy of Therapeutic Arts and Sciences for Wales  Offering Hypnotherapy Training  and Other Courses in Clinical Hypnosis in North Wales and Borders with Quality Professional Training Leading to an Externally Accredited and Internationally Recognised Hypnotherapy Qualification. For international students and those within the UK, who would find weekend modules inconvenient, we offer special, intensive, courses. These take place in the context of an actual hypnotherapy practice with opportunities for observing hypnotherapy in action, skill practice with 'real' clients and discussion of live, current cases.  If you are interested in training to become a hypnotherapist or would find hypnotherapy skills useful in your present work with people, why not consider this opportunity to study for our externally accredited courses for hypnotherapy qualifications either by way of weekend modules or one of the more intensive options. Our main tutor is a certified instructor of the National Guild of Hypnotists with a Certificate in Education, who also runs a busy Hypnotherapy Group Practice in North Wales, and all courses are tutored by qualified and practising hypnotherapists with teaching qualifications. Externally accredited by the UK National Council for Hypnotherapy, and covering the internationally recognised syllabus of the National Guild of Hypnotists, our hypnotherapy training leads to the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma, a qualification based on the UK national standards, as well as the externally accredited Diploma in Clinical and Advanced Hypnosis and also the NLP Practitioner Diploma as awarded by the UK Academy of Therapeutic Arts and Sciences. Whereas potential students from North Wales, the West Midlands and North West areas of England might find the weekend modules the better option, those interested in practising hypnosis in other parts of the UK or internationally will no doubt find the intensive block course, coupled with home study, a splendid way of achieving this internationally recognised hypnotherapy qualification.
